Pommard 1er Cru "Clos des Poutures" is the jewel of Armand Heitz’s historic estate, a 0.66-hectare monopole born from vines planted between 1964 and 1999 on rich clay and silt soils. Crafted with 50% whole-cluster fermentation and aged for 14 months in 20 - 40% new oak, this wine is a masterclass in finesse. While its color is gracefully modest, the depth is profound, opening with an intoxicating bouquet of fresh roses and vibrant red berries. On the palate, it delivers impressive intensity and a sophisticated, structured personality, yet remains beautifully balanced by subtle, silky tannins - a true expression of a legendary terroir.
