Product Information
True to its name "Très" (meaning "three"), this wine is made from grapes harvested from three different plots. Arnaud Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée De Très Vieilles Vignes is a legacy of ancient vines and terroir. Sourced from three prestigious lieux-dits - Aux Echezeaux, En Champs, and Combes du Dessus - this wine is the beating heart of Gevrey-Chambertin’s finest terroir. Crafted from extraordinary 70 to 120-year-old vines, it undergoes a meticulous vinification process: 50% whole-cluster fermentation (with stems removed), indigenous yeasts, and 16 months of aging in one-third new oak. The result is a wine defined not by brute power, but by remarkable finesse and a tensile, electric thread of energy. Unfined and unfiltered, it is a pure, profound reflection of its storied heritage. The old vines here create a deep and concentrated flavor for Arnaud Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée De Très Vieilles Vignes.
