Gaia & Rey là được làm từ nho Chardonnay đầu tiên được trồng tại Piemonte và cũng là loại rượu vang trắng Ý đầu tiên được ủ trong thùng gỗ sồi barrique. Rượu được lên men và ủ trong gỗ sồi trong khoảng 6–8 tháng.
